Four Tips for Your Fall Skincare Regimen

Your Skincare Regimen: Transition your Skin routine to Fall

1. Skincare Product Selection

As the weather changes, so should your Skincare routine. Always opt for products that protect you and counterbalance the climate. Consider incorporating products like Lumivive, Lytera, Obagi Vitamin C, Obagi Clear, Obagi Blender or a higher strength Retinol. These products will help to address discoloration, skin texture & tone, pollution, and aging concerns. Some of these products are hard for some patients to tolerate in the summer heat and sun! But as always… don’t forget to incorporate your SPF…even in the fall & winter!

2. Build a Routine!

Fall is about getting back into the swing of a routine! Start by making a free skincare consultation appointment with us so you are fresh faced for the Holiday season ahead! We can build a customized regimen just for you.

3. Let's address the damage...

Fall means it’s LASER SZN! Laser treatments like IPL and Sublative skin resurfacing become very popular this time of the year. This is because it is easier to avoid the sun after your treatment, and because the holidays are right around the corner! This is also the same for Chemical peels. We offer peels ranging from $85 -$350 with different levels of downtime. These treatments are best suited for months when the sun is easiest to avoid.

4. Skin Checks

The most important part of your skin routine is ensuring that it is healthy. A Skin Check is recommended at least once a year. Most damage tends to happen in the summer, and we are here to educate you on how to address current damage and prevent it in the future! (Hint: SPF is a great place to start.)

Spider veins are small, visible blood vessels that often form close to the surface of the skin. Most commonly found on the legs and face, they may appear red, blue, or purple and are often shaped like thin lines, webs, or branches. While they are generally harmless, many people seek treatment for cosmetic reasons or to relieve discomfort such as itching or burning.
